Interview with Latvian Radio

As Latvia will soon represent the EU in the UNSC, I had the pleasure to discuss with Latvijas Radio the challenges to multilateralism currently posed by the disengagement of the great powers US, China and Russia. 


While the UN faces a strong blow to its funding and relevance, Europe has the opportunity to take the lead, fill the gap, and fight for a rules-based – instead of a power-based – global order:
